Patriarchal Authority. The Emperor is the supreme ruler with a focus on domination. The Emperor has a tendency to neglect the ideas of community and social responsibility. Some tarot card decks show an image of Alexander the Great as The Emperor. The Emperor has great abilities within the realms of warfare and conquest. He is the modern warlord who attempts to maintain control at the expense of his people. The Emperor is very capable, and can efficiently run a country or a corporation. The challenge for The Emperor is to open his heart and remember to take care of those less fortunate than himself. With an eye to his riches and overindulgence, he has a tendency to ignore the destruction his quest for power brings.
