Celtic Cross Tarot Card layout, Cards 10 and 11, the House and final result

9th Mar 2008

Hope you’re doing great today!

Thanks for checking out my blog on how to read tarot cards. I enjoy helping new tarot card readers discover the tarot cards; and, perhaps, help some tried and true readers expand their skills or horizons. Lately, I have been blogging about the Celtic Cross tarot spread.

The tenth tarot card, your House

The House of the questioner. The card reader should place this card directly above card 9, increasing the height of the vertical line of cards. This card can represent the energy of various different people. Usually it is a close person to the querent, such as lover, business partner, child, parent, or best friend. Some readers think of this card as representing the questioner’s overall House. However, I find usually (not always) this card is about the one person who is or will be most affected by the outcome reflected in the tarot card reading (other than the querent herself). For example, if the reading is about love, the House card will represent the new lover, or perhaps the former lover.

The eleventh tarot card, final result

This card is the final card and reflects the final result. Some tarot readers will keep placing cards until they place a major arcana card as the outcome card. This card reflects exactly what is expected, the result. If the querent continues to behave as she usually does, and does not change any of her patterns or habits, this card reflects the result of the situation at hand. The card reader can help the querent if this card does not look positive by reminding the querent that every day is a new opportunity to change the way she interacts with the world. When we do that, we start to attract more positive results into our reality.

If the querent changes her behavior enough, the reading will no longer be accurate; and, the questioner will experience a different outcome (and a different life). I hope you have enjoyed reading about the Celtic Cross tarot card layout.

to your card reading success,

the tarot card reader
